My daughter Rose  (age 11) is a voracious reader, and she has enjoyed hearing about my adventures at the SCBWI Conference in LA.  When I rattle off the names of all the authors I saw and listened to, she gets starry-eyed!  She loved hearing me talk about my interactions with poet and anthologist Lee Bennett Hopkins.
